THE AWKWARD MOMENTS

Built for the bits that go wrong at a counter.

Age checks, refunds and busy queues are where tills earn their keep. Malvern makes the right thing the easy thing for whoever is on shift.

  • Challenge 25 prompts with the exact date of birth to check
  • Refunds need a manager’s approval
  • Every member of staff signs in with their own PIN
  • Hold a sale and pick it up again in one tap

THE PEOPLE BEHIND IT

Built by people who understand retail.

Two founders, two halves of the job. You deal with them directly, from the first chat to the day your new till goes live.

Read our story

The retailer

From a family that has run independent shops for around 40 years. Knows exactly what a Saturday morning queue feels like.

The developer

Builds Malvern, installs it and fixes things on site. The person who wrote the code is the person you talk to.

Built with a retailer. Delivered by a developer. Made for independent shops.

BEFORE YOU SWITCH

The questions every shop asks.

All questions
Will Malvern work with my existing till hardware?

Often, yes. Malvern supports Epson TM-T20IV and TM-m30II or any 80mm ESC/POS receipt printer, USB barcode scanners, printer-driven cash drawers and Elo, Posiflex and HP Engage tills on Windows, Linux or Mac. We check your exact models before quoting.

Can you import my existing products and prices?

Usually. If your current system can export a CSV or spreadsheet, we import your products, barcodes and prices, then check and tidy them with you before go-live.

Does the till work without the internet?

Yes. Malvern is local-first: products, sales and records are stored on the till, so checkout carries on if your broadband drops. Card payments use your card terminal, which has its own connection.

Do you install it and train my staff?

Yes. We install Malvern, bring your products across and train your team on your own till. Everything included is listed in your proposal.
